New PTOS - DocuPRO integration reduces PT billing hassles

(TEMPE, AZ & TARZANA, CA) PTOS Software and SpectraSoft, Inc. have announced a new integration between SpectraSoft’s DocuPRO rehab documentation software and PTOS that simplifies billing and reduces the workload for physical therapists.

SpectraSoft’s AppointmentsPRO scheduling system has long integrated with PTOS. Now the new DocuPRO integration creates a simplified workflow solution for rehab practices that allows the front desk, therapists and billing department to share the same data and work more closely as a team.

DocuPRO features over 150 body-specific templates that use branching logic to simplify the documentation process. Each template comes pre-loaded with the appropriate CPT and Medicare billing codes. A 4-year, 40-clinic study found this approach increases the average charge per encounter over 40%, by capturing many legitimate charges that therapists forget to include on billing slips.
