Four scheduling algorithms ensure the finest patient care

While any enterprise-based system can automate basic scheduling, what separates ES is the ability to simplify even the most complex scheduling problems, with four layers of computer logic:

Resource-centric scheduling -- gives you a traditional "appointment book" view of resources, making quick work of basic scheduling.

Procedure-centric scheduling -- allows your central administrator to simply request a procedure. Then the system searches the entire enterprise for the resource that most closely matches the patient's need and location.

Protocol-based scheduling -- takes complex treatment protocols involving multiple visits and resources, and allows you to scheule an entire patient regimen with a single click. If the patient misses an appointment, the system automatically adjusts future appointments to maintain the protocol.

Rules-based scheduling -- analyzes clinical protocols, insurance requirements and any other inputs your organization requires to validate every scheduling request. For instance, the system will flag a series of incompatible procedures that would lead to an adverse reaction, or notify you of a scheduling request that is not authorized by the patient's insurance plan.
